Jacqui McIntosh, a leading authority on Afro and textured hair, is Avlon’s European Education Director, a certified trichologist, and heads Project Afro for The Fellowship for British Hairdressing.
Joining Avlon over 20 years ago as an educator, Jacqui has greatly contributed to Avlon’s reputation, devising and delivering the brand’s education offerings. As Avlon’s Education Director, Jacqui oversees and manages the educational teams throughout Europe. Not only does Jacqui head up Avlon’s education, but she is also renowned within the industry for her expertise. She is the programme lead for The Fellowship for British Hairdressing’s Project Afro and works closely with the VTCT on Afro and textured hair accreditations and qualifications. Jacqui is also a fully qualified hairdresser and creative director and is currently a member of the IFATE Employer’s Qualifications Root Panel.
