Andy Turner is a powerhouse of creative vision. Andy has worked with the hair industry for the last two decades – lending his creative direction to countless global brands including Wella, Aveda, GHD, Robert Eaton and D & J Ambrose.
With a holistic approach to each event, Andy has the ability to unify a vision with his art direction. His extensive experience in the fashion, dance and theatrical industries means he is adept at creating aesthetics that are both on-trend and visually spectacular. In addition to this creative flair and unique artistic signature, Andy possesses excellent communication skills, ensuring that his vision is always translated across ALL elements of his productions. Whilst Andy is inspired and influenced by film, contemporary art and technology, his use of the latest innovations always pursues the purpose of amplifying both theartists’ performances and the audience’s emotional reaction.
From planning to performance, Andy understands every aspect of show production. Immersing himself in every project, Andy combines his tireless attention to detail with his ability to visualise the bigger picture. If required, Andy will utilise his dependable network of suppliers consisting of the best talent in the industry to provide lighting, music, models, dancers, specialist performers, special effects and screen content. Under Andy’s supervision, brands are able to enjoy a complete bespoke production of the highest calibre. Furthermore, Andy’s ability to both nurture and lead always guarantees effective teamwork and clear direction in the delivery of each project.
Andy was classically trained at the Rambert School of Ballet and Contemporary Dance and the Northern Contemporary School of Dance. His extensive choreographic across all genres means he has the ability to pull together routines that are stylistically appropriate for each project whilst best expressing the narrative of the production.
