Tariq Howes is a multi-award-winning male hair stylist with over 15 years of industry experience and the owner of Avenue Barbers his own barbershop based in Ely, Cardiff.
Renowned for his expertise in Afro hair, Tariq’s mixed heritage — Welsh, Egyptian, Somali and Bajan — has shaped his creative vision and inspired his versatility across all hair types and textures. His technical precision, cultural depth and contemporary approach have positioned him as one of the UK’s leading voices in modern male grooming.
Tariq is an official ambassador for BaByliss, representing the brand at industry events and through education and creative collaborations.
