Specialist in Textured & Curly Hair and an International Artistic Educator for Design Essentials Salon Systems.
Tamara has evolved as one of the most sought-after Texture Colour Specialists in the West Midlands and obtained the coveted Wella Master Colour Expert qualification. Her credits include a diverse knowledge base, and she is dedicated to the hairdressing competition world, having become the L’Oréal Colour Finalist – Afro Look twice and previously won the Wahl Afro Northern Stylist of the Year title.
More recently Tamara won the first prize in an internal Competition amongst her Design Essentials Educator peers in the USA, the ‘DE Bob & Pixie Challenge’.
Hair is Tamara’s passion, whether as an Educator, Competition Entrant, Salon Owner, Creative Stylist or as a Platform Artist. This passion has allowed her to work on stage at Salon International with The Fellowship for British Hairdressers, at Africa Fashion Week in Egypt, London Fashion Week, teach Habia endorsed CPD Textured Hair Courses with Design Essentials, and present on Afro Hair Textures also for The Fellowship. More currently for Television, she has worked on the MOBO Awards, The Voice U.K and currently works on Hollyoaks.
