Mike Patey (MA, BA Hons) is a seasoned professional with over 23 years of experience in the hair and beauty industry.
His career spans influential roles including Marketing Manager at Hairdressers Journal International, Exhibition Director of Salon International, and General Manager of the HBSA. As a consultant, he has supported numerous brands, and currently holds a full-time position at B Corp-certified Olivia Garden. Mike played a key role in launching Recycle My Salon, a pioneering initiative to help salons sustainably recycle foils, tubes, and hair trimmings. At Olivia Garden, he also helped establish the Hair Styling Tool Collective with Denman International, championing innovation and collaboration within the professional styling community.
