Jonathan De Francesco is an internationally acclaimed hairstylist, with a burgeoning portfolio of creative work across the fashion and beauty industries.
It was at an early age that De Francesco discovered his passion and his inherent talent for hairstyling, working in his mother’s salon. His natural aptitude and creativity caught the eye of award-winning London salon, Brooks and Brooks, where De Francesco worked for four years. De Francesco then began session assisting under the tutelage of industry greats such as Anthony Turner, Sam McKnight and Duffy, further honing his skills and perfecting his own innovative perspective. A testament to De Francesco’s excellence and discipline, he was then part of Guido Palau’s core team for three years, exercising his talents across runway, editorial and campaigns.
Since emerging as an artist in his own right, De Francesco has cultivated an intrepid approach to his vocation. His work often takes classic hairstyles and transforms them with his unique eye, daringly experimenting with textures, construction and techniques. Though his work is highly considered and disciplined, it is imbued with a sense of irreverence and fearlessness.
