I started my career in 1978 in Peter Mark. I completed my apprenticeship there and went on to win my first Loreal colour trophy in 1983.
Also winning IHF hairdresser of the year the same year. At the age of 19 l opened my own salon Ebony and Ivory. After 3 years, I went back to Peter mark to continue my path into the fashion and TV world, working on shoots and shows, Which I continued to do throughout my career. Working for the likes of Vivienne Westwood, Pam Hogg, Philip Tracy, Chloe, Vogue and Marie Claire. I worked on 4 tv shows, doing makeovers and editorial work. After Peter Mark, I moved to Pzazz to concentrate on my cutting and to build a clientele. I then moved to Kazumi, which I have continued to work for the past 31.5 years behind the chair. I have gone on to win 2 more Loreal colour trophy’s competitions plus Photo graphic Awards.
Including 2 for Best of the Best, and one for The intercoffuir award. I consider my self a hair adventurer.
