Irish Hair Collective to Represent Ireland on the Global Stage at HairCon Manchester

Following their electrifying success at the RDS in Dublin this March, the Irish Hair Collective has been invited to take the international stage at HairCon in Manchester on June 23rd —marking a historic first for Ireland.
This is the first time an Irish team has ever been asked to headline the Live Stage at HairCon, one of the UK’s most prestigious and forward-thinking hair industry events. The invitation is a testament to the creative firepower and collaborative energy the Irish Hair Collective has ignited across the island and beyond.
The Collective is made up of some of Ireland’s most respected and trailblazing hair and beauty professionals, including:
Sean Taaffe, Wayne Lloyd, Bridget Haren, Jenni Crawford, Debbie O’Keefe, Wenda Partridge, Claire Garvey, Maeve O’Healy-Harte, Declan Makeup, and Paul Mac Special.
Known for their edgy haircuts, avant-garde styling, and infectious team spirit, the Irish Hair Collective isn’t just about pushing creative boundaries—they’re redefining what it means to work together as artists. This year, they’ll also unveil a new creative layer: editorial-style stage makeup that enhances the storytelling and adds a polished, fashion-centric finish to their presentation.
“This is more than a stage show. It’s a moment of recognition for Irish hairdressing on an international level,” said Wayne Lloyd, a driving force behind the Collective. “To stand alongside the industry’s best and represent our country with pride—it’s a dream.”
And the excitement doesn’t end on the main stage. Immediately following their headline performance, the Irish Hair Collective has been invited to appear on the Fellowship Stage, where they will continue their creative showcase in front of a new audience. From there, they’ll head into the VIP area for exclusive live interviews—a true celebration of their talent and the impact they’re making across the industry.
The team couldn’t be more delighted. For them, it’s not just about the spotlight—it’s about proudly showcasing Irish talent, lifting each other up, and bringing creative joy wherever they go.
